Re: New to the Ryker forum? Feel free to introduce yourself here!
Greetings from Amish country in PA!
I'm looking at purchasing a Ryker Rally soon. A concern I had ist hat I plan on doing 2-up riding with my wife fequently and the passenger seat looks quite small and uncomfortable, even with the back rest. Most Spyders are out of my price range and I like the simplicity and what appears to be lower maintenance costs with the Ryker. I also like how easily customizeable it is.
Curious if anybody has any experience riding 2-up on the Ryker?
Thanks!

Greetings from NorCal! Been riding motorcycles as a re-entry rider for about 12 years now; current ride is a Honda Silverwing.
I'm thinking about going three wheels and the Ryker looks like a good candidate to enter into that mode. I've been watching them since they were introduced and I'm aware of some of the initial teething problems (like the cracking wheel nuts), but not overly concerned.
Biggest concern is that although I ride strictly solo, I'm a pretty big guy (6', 275). I'm gravitating towards the 900 Rally with the larger comfort seat and LinQ mount and luggage and some type of windshield. Not out shopping yet, but will be in the next year or so.
Anyway, thanks for allowing me on the forum!

Hey Roc, we have a 600 and 900 rally. I'd personally go with the 900 in either trim, if you're 275lb. I'm 220lb and the 600 is fine for city use.. but quite sluggish, especially at highway speeds. The 900's a beast.roc54 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:23 amGreetings from NorCal! Been riding motorcycles as a re-entry rider for about 12 years now; current ride is a Honda Silverwing.

Well I just purchased the rally edition. I’ve been riding 2-up and solo both on country roads, hills, etc and highway... rain or shine. No problems whatsoever riding riding 2-up and we total around 325lbs. The Ryker windshield seems adequate but at 5’9” I probably would opt for a taller windshield. But the rally has plenty of power and handles superbly and I’m finding it to be rock solid and quite a pleasure to ride

New 2020 Rally owner outside of Raleigh, NC! Purchased late September and already have ~750 miles on it... super fun machine! Miss 2 wheels sometimes and certainly a manual but the simplicity and fun level from being stress "free" being on 3 wheels and sufficient power is growing on me every time I ride.

Just bought my Ryker...picking up in 3 days. So excited.
Live in Monmouth County NJ...hope to ride and make new friends in community.
Hoping for warmer weather soon.
First time rider and eager to learn from everyone...to start off, what tools do you bring when riding? How do you manage a flat?
Thanks for the add!

Hey everyone, I just traded my 2010 Yamaha Roadstar in for a 2019 Ryker Rally. The dealer had a brand new Rally left over and was selling at a great price. I jumped on the deal and picked it up yesterday 1/24/2020.
