Wheel nut
Re: Wheel nut
Can't find it cheaper on there than Northern Tool. I'm still a little reluctant about the fit. When you are torquing to 221 ft. lbs. that socket better fit snug or you will round off the edges pretty quick.

Re: Wheel nut
Got my socket from Northern in the mail today. I Retorqued my wheels and it didn't even take the paint off the nuts ,worked great . Nice to know if I get a flat , I can get it fixed anywhere and be back on the road.
Re: Wheel nut
That's good news, I will test mine out Friday. I think this is a must to carry on the Ryker because no shop will have a socket that big. Well, except maybe a Big Rig Truck shop and then maybe not.

Re: Wheel nut
Tire repair shops------------I wonder if they have a 3/4 ' drive 250 lb torque wrench. and Im sure they wont have the can am recomended tires.????
I think a dealer might be the only place for tire repair.

Re: Wheel nut
Sometimes I' m 200 to 300 hundred miles from my nearest Dealer. My 250 lb. torque wrench is 1/2 in. drive so I have a 3/4 to 1/2 reducer on my socket. Most tire shops around here do truck and tractor tires so I'm sure they would have a 250 lb. torque wrench. If not I could get it close enough until I get home , because I torqued my wheels so I know what It feels like. I always retorque my wheels when I have a repair or new tires. I wouldn't expect a repair shop to have a Ryker tire. If the tires not repairable I can just take the wheel to the dealer for a new tire , not the whole bike.
