I was getting a good sized spot on the floor under the transmission . I checked the drain plug and it was tight. I took it back to the dealer and he changed the crush washer on the drain plug. I have 6,500 on it now and Its still dry. The Tech said the trans oil was realy dirty when he drained it. I will be changing it every 6,000 mi. instead of 12,000.
The Cvt filter was really dirty, but the Engine filter was good. Every thing else was good.

Re: Oil leak at 6,000 mi. service
"Looking dirty" is no way to judge oil! It could be perfectly fine. In my Jetta TDI, normal oil change interval was 10,000 miles, but I pushed it to 20,000 miles, using OIL ANALYSIS.vmax3740 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2019 5:41 pmI was getting a good sized spot on the floor under the transmission . BTW: After 50 miles on fresh oil, it was black as night. Looks mean nothing. (unless it looks "milky", in which case coolant or water is getting in the oil).
