Aftermarket exhaust and K&N air filter swaps

#1 Post by lpport30 » Wed Jul 24, 2019 5:03 am

I'm sure a lot of Ryker owners have replaced exhausts and air filters. I'm curious how this affects the performance? Will you need to retune the motor? I red in several discussions that the Ryker will remap itself if you let it idle for 15 minutes. Is this true? Is it the same as retuning the motor or should the motor still be retuned for performance? Thanks in advance

Changed my exhaust Two Brothers, I will be changing to a K&N filter soon. I'm not really worried about MPG's as this bike is horrible for that. But I do enjoy a loud, aggressive engine sound, especially next to little cars.
