I just installed the back seat with the max mount.

I’m seeking clarification on the notch setting for the rear spring.

I am 160 pounds and don’t ride with a passenger very often.

I was wondering what the real difference is between notch three and notch five.

Is notch five overkill.

Will ride quality suffer significantly? If set two Notch five?

Has anyone had success splitting the difference and staying with a balance of comfort and stiffness with a notch three setting?

Also....

To get from 5 back to 1, you keep going forward and let it drop the long distance in the notch, correct?

Instead of trying to force it backwards......
