Turn signal fender wire clip

Has anyone else experienced a clip that holds the wiring for the turn signal come loose? This is on the right fender. I was riding and sounds like rubbing against the tire , and noticed the wire clip is hanging loose. Any thoughts or shared experience with this?

Yes, Mine was doing same thing. Burnt thru wire, repaired and put clip back on tiny post but might have to drill small hole and safety tie it in the future if it comes off again.

Came off again, I removed both factory clips then drilled small hole in tab on inside of both fenders reattached with safety ties. PROBLEM SOLVED!

Here's a picture of the clips that will not hold. I suggest replacing them with safety ties before your tire burns threw your wiring harness.

thanks for the tip. Yesterday I noticed my left front signal was not working. The wire had been worn thru by the tire. Will take to the dealer to have the wiring replaced.
