Hello everyone,
I just got a 900 Rally and would like to put a whole rear fender from the regular 900 on, because it would keep the shock and everything else under the seat much cleaner.
The problem is that the regular 900 rear fender is not wide enough to accommodate the wider tires on the Rally and consequently the tire will drag on the fender.
Does anyone know of any after market solution to this issue?
Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much
Franz

Re: Rear fender on a 900 Rally
I,m sure an aftermarket company will solve this problem. Dumb idea not to put a fender on rear. Or at least a cover over the shock.

Wider? you mean taller? either way it fits on my wife's ryker, and it fits on this guys ryker as well (see youtube link). No need for aftermarket, just a fender and some rivets.

Yes, you need to remove front small plastic fender by popping out two rivets and screw then replace it with full fender. New full fender should come with 2 each rivets and screw. Hope this help. Will try to attach diagram. Good luck!

Details, it's all in the details. Got a part number? I just got a Ryker Rally and that seems like a good idea unless rocks get stuck up in the new rear fender. Ok, so I decided to try and locate the part number myself and if found share it. So the P/N I think it is is 705013618. I found this here: https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en/sh ... frame.html Perhaps someone who has done this can confirm this. It almost looks like it might be two pieces?
Re: Rear fender on a 900 Rally
This is the P/N for the full rear fender (one piece only) I ordered to replace half fender on my Rally: 705011162. Item number 520 on parts catalogue. Hope that helps.
