I'm figuring on going with the 900 Rally Edition because I doubt that the 600 is going to have enough power to continue to be fun. I'm not exactly small...I don't want to strain a 600 when it tries to drag my big old butt around.
When I did an insurance quote on Geico for the 900 rally the quote was double that of the 900 (non-rally). Actually the 600 and 900 were the same price insurance wise.
I got a quote from my insurance agent about a week ago....still waiting for decent enough weather to justify buying something like this.
I was quoted $396/year for full coverage on either the Ryker Rally edition OR a Spyder F3-S. Farmers Insurance.....

I was previously riding a mid size cruiser and the 600 is in the same HP and Torque class as it was, so that's what I purchased. On happy with the pick up and the speed. While my wife is on the back, I find it accelerates well enough and I've reached 75mph.
Very happy with the purchase.

I am going with the 600. I haven't been on a bike in 35 years. Back then it was a YZ 125, so I'm sure the 600 cc engine will feel powerful enough for me as a n00b.

I believe I would have been happy with 600 but wanted the xtra items with which the Rally comes.

I am going with 900 for the extra power, and not the rally edition because I love the blackened look of the 900 with the black rims. For me it looks meaner all black with the panels that I have in mind (red, yellow and mat black).

I watched a YouTube video on the 600.. and I have re-evaluated my decision. For what I need vs. The cost the 600 should be perfect. Plus it sounds phenomenal

I went with the 900 cos dealer did not sell the 600 on the grounds it was to under powered. But it cost me $3000 more.

Sheesh. I hope your future dealings with that dealer are better than that.
