Guy on YouTube took his frunk off and found there is a locking mechanism, just no cable attached.

Yeah. I saw that. It'll be interesting to see what Quasimotard rigs up to make that work.

Took me a minute but I got it, Frunk, front trunk? I saw that video also.

The mechanism could be from Spyder F3S front trunk. A locking actuator from F3S could be installed probably.

Sling mods has a cable kit that goes from the parking brake lever to the frunk for $70

I prefer to call it a 'fruckit' for front bucket. Also sounds better when swearing at it.
