The engine is longitudinal in the Ryker, transverse in the F3 for one thing. I guess they might have a common ...

Re: Dealership Shout-Out
I haven't heard much good about the RideNow chain before. Good counterpoint. Thanks.

Re: Sludge-like fluid leaking out of shaft case/rear wheel bearing
I realize that BRP want / need to get as many Rykers out the door as they can, but it's kind of... interesting... that they don't have a rear bearing seal or (in the case of another poster) a tail light lens available anywhere.

Re: Hood accent
I was in a dealer a while back with holes in the hood on one of the floor models. Apparently they had installed the hood accent piece, then taken it off....

Re: first Service Ryker 600
I don't agree. Condensation can develop in engines which aren't operated long enough to get up to temperature and cook off the moisture. Unburned fuel can get into the engine, combustion products, etc. etc. "Worn out" oil is not the only reason to change, there is also contamination.1,000 miles of 1...

Re: High engine temp
Somewhere I saw a time-lapse video of a dealer doing a setup of a new Ryker. More like final assembly - it's really quite involved. A lot of things to keep track of. That said, there is presumably a step-by-step procedure to follow, checklists, etc. and I would think that previous experience setting...

Re: High engine temp / limp mode
If you are seeing overheating at 55F, think what will happen this summer in Phoenix!
Hard to picture overheating being a normal part of break-in. The fans are there to keep it from overheating at a stop. If they don't do the job, there is definitely a problem whether due to design or set-up.

Re: High engine temp / limp mode
I also think it should not be ridden 25 miles in limp mode.
If the dealer delivered it to your house presumably they can pick it up as well, under the circumstances.
Just out of curiosity, have you checked the coolant level?
