Re: WHY Does The Ryker Get such POOR MPG???
Dunno, but my manual says idle is set electronically and can only be adjusted by the dealer.

"Clacking" Sound ?
I'm just new to my Ryker 600, 2500 mi total/about 500 by me. I'm noticing a "clacking" noise from the area of the rear wheel when first accelerating from a standstill -- not every time, but more often than not. It doesn't continue, just one or two clacks, then something or other engages back there a...

Re: WHY Does The Ryker Get such POOR MPG???
I'm not very good at detecting that engine knock thing, but my 600 at 1100 rpm idle seems to "miss" every once in awhile, even when running the "good stuff." Engine seems smooth at any higher rpm though. Almost due for the "first inspection" the manual says I need, so will ask them about it and repo...

My scooter gets 100 mpg but it was never designed for mountains so its ...

Re: WHY Does The Ryker Get such POOR MPG???
Well, I do a short stretch on the Interstate when there's no alternative, but 40-45 around town is 90% of my driving, so hoping for many more problem-free miles (approaching 2500 now).

Re: WHY Does The Ryker Get such POOR MPG???
Just got my Ryker earlier this month, but after two fillups (hi-test) I've gotten 37.8 mpg. Not fantastic, but tolerable. PS, mine's the 2019 600 version.

Tire Lifetime?
Just starting out with my Ryker, 2000 miles, wondering if anybody has been Rykering long enough to know when tires will need replacement. Talking normal street riding, not constant rally stuff; paved roads, no donuts or the like. On my previous scooters, 7000-8000 was about normal.
