Towing your Ryker???
Towing your Ryker???
Ok, I am getting ready to move from VA to San Antonio TX and will be getting my Ryker once we get there.
Since we are moving from VA to TX we plan to get a trailer here for the move and later use this trailer to tow the Ryker with my Jeep when we go places
I was told by the local dealer here that I would need a 6x10 trailer and we want to get an aluminum one to save weight on the trailer.
My question is what is the trailer of choice (aluminum preferred) that everyone is using for this purpose?
Links and pics of these trailers much appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Towing your Ryker???
I found the cheapest one in my neck of the woods a Triple Crown for $1350. They even beat the Lowe's price.

Re: Towing your Ryker???
I have been using an ALUMA 6810 for several years and cant say enough good about it. I hauled a Spyder RT, then a RZR 900s, and now the Ryker Rally.
I only added a toolbox and a front deflector plate. I just used it to pick up my new Rally from Pittbull Powersports in Missouri, as shown in my Avatar.

Re: Towing your Ryker???
I know this post is a few months old, but I think a 5 foot trailer is adequate. I back mine up the trailer ramp with the 2 wheels at the back of the trailer. I moved the rails in back of the wheels 2 inches out. That means the 60" width becomes 64". I like the tighter fit.
