Yellow Caterpillar o-rings make for a highly effective cruise control/throttle set. On one of my bikes, only one was required. On my last one, a Piaggio MP3 500 three wheeler, it required two. Still waiting on some to arrive for Ryker, but I will likely require 3 of them, as the gap between twist grip and inner plastic piece is pretty large.

I must be missing something. I really don't see how a simple ring will work as a throttle lock.
When you get this setup, please post a picture.

The squeeze between the moving part of the throttle, and the stationary part, and provide friction which exceeds the spring pull of the throttle.
Here is one shown on a previous scooter of mine:

It might take 2 or even 3 of them, as the gap is pretty large on the Ryker. So order maybe 3.
Shown is a Yamaha scooter. My Piaggio required 2 to fill the gap.

UPDATE: FINALLY was able to get mirror off in order to install throttle locking o-ring. Surprisingly it took only one o-ring to lock the throttle. I thought it would take 2 or 3. So now I have 3 extra o-rings. If anyone wants one, PM me your address.

Finally snapped a pic for your viewing pleasure! It fits & works PERFECTLY!
Note: I had to roll the fat part of the grip on itself in order to roll the o-ring past it.
I ordered a 3-pack of them, and already had a yellow one, so now I have 3 extras. PM me, and I'll send one to your address if you want one.

It is quite amazing how steady the Ryker 600 velocity remains with a simple throttle o-ring!
True at any speed; doesn't vary a single MPH.
