Alarm ? location ?

Hi - just purchased a cheap alarm on the net for my futur Ryker. It should react to any kind of vibration so I hope that it will deter most of the picture-taking kids who might hop on the bike for a quick selfie.
I understand that if somebody wants to steal your baby, nothing that can be done hence the el cheapo device.
So my questions are:
* did somebody already install the same type of device ? if no, why ?
* if yes, where did you install it ?
* any good/bad experiences ?
Thank you

Instead, You could carry in your trunk a nice pile of fake bird poop splat for your seat to ward off a seat sitter.

Hey ! I like the idea ! Seems that fake bird poop splats are harder to find in the net than cheap alarms !
But I welcome out-of-the-box ideas.

The Parking Brake lock is a good solution as well as a Brake Disc lock if your really concerned.

Thanks KC61 - I will have the parking brake lock installed for sure. But I am also looking for a cheap way to scare punks looking to feed their instagram account.
I assume that a ryker, with its unique look, will attract them like flies on

I bought this on Amazon but not sure I will use it. The Discs on the Ryker aren't really handy to get to

I suggest the Can-Am Helmet Bag (Part 219400765). It will keep people from sitting on the seat and give you a way to secure your helmet.

Does that disc lock have a wide enough groove to fit on the rotor? The pin size has to be 6 mm to go through the rotor holes on a Ryker Sport.
