Hi vis or not?

As a new rider I’ve been trying to learn as much on being safe. Visibility is something I’ve been acutely aware of. There has been a lot of discussion I believe on hi-vis gear vs non hi-vis. My wife was following me while I was wearing hi-vis gear jacket and also my helmet has LED,s built in and she snapped some pics - I was impressed at the results. HerE are some pics. Though we should consider ourselves always invisible, I do think hi-vis helps.

I used to do a whole lot of tour bicycle riding along the central Ca. coast. Thousands of miles a year in all types of weather.
Trust me. Hi vis is the only way to go. It was very apparent when two riders were a long distance ahead of me, one in a multi colored regular jersey and one with the lime hi vis. I won't ride my Ryker without it.

Wow what a difference, I may need to look into getting some, or a bunch of lights added to the Ryker.
