So are the nuts on a Can Am metric or imperial? As their is a big difference in 2½in and 65mm. If I go for the 2½in socket the conversion to mm is 64mm not 65, VI's versa the other way.

Metric, and 65mm equals 2.55906 inches. Not sure why this is so hard to understand but the 2 1/2" socket fits perfect.

I was just riding along may 8th and herd a bad sound from the rear stop to check it out and my rear tire wheel nut was starting to come off, have any body had this happen .
I checked mine today and to my surprise I was able to move them some to the 220 ft lb mark. I think I shall check them once a month from now on.
I got the correct socket on line from England , $40.00 with shipping . 3/4 inch torque wrench was $85.00. Amazon .
I carry the socket in the bike in case of a flat. I dont think any tire shop would have that socket.

Thanks, but that extra 5906 of an inche is play I not won't. if the nut is metric I'll get the right size at 65mm.
